Description and Habitat

In addition to numerous uses for Eastern Hemlock, F. W. Waugh learned that it was used as a source of red dye amongst Anishinaabe in the early 20th Century.

Conservation Status

S5 (Secure) in Ontario and New York, S4 (Apparently Secure) in Québec
